Spider: solitaire online is a game of skill and strategy. Winning depends on making smart decisions rather than just being lucky. Because of this, many people enjoy playing it and think it's one of the best solitaire games.
We've created a user-friendly interface for our game. It's easy to move the cards around when playing. You can focus on enjoying the game, not on how to make the right move on the screen. The interface is smooth and doesn't need very precise movements, which makes the game more enjoyable.
If you're new to the game, we suggest starting with the single suit mode. This mode is easier, and you can get a feel for the game without feeling too much pressure. After you get more comfortable with the game's mechanics, you can try out more challenging modes.
How to play
The aim of the game is to clear the table of cards by building columns in descending order from king to ace. Before you start, you can choose how challenging you want the game to be: easy with one suit, medium with two suits, or hard with four suits. Also, don't worry if you make a mistake – you can always undo your last move.
This game uses two decks of cards, giving you 104 cards in total. Out of these, 54 cards are laid out horizontally in ten columns, with only the top card visible. The remaining 50 cards are placed in the lower right corner.
When you click on the deck, a card from that deck is dealt to each column. However, you cannot deal a card if any column already has a card on top.
You also have the option to move the top card from any column to an empty spot. It's worth noting that:
- The top card of a column can be moved to the next highest card, regardless of its suit.
- A sequence of ordered cards of the same suit can be moved as one big card.
- Cards are automatically removed from the table when a row is filled with an ordered set of cards from king to ace, all of the same suit.
