The aim of the game is to gather all the cards into eight stacks, starting with aces and finishing with kings. The cards are arranged in ten rows, each symbolizing one of the forty thieves who tried to stop Josephine. You need to place the cards on top of each other in increasing order and alternate between colors until you collect all the cards and vanquish all the villains.
How to play
**Josephine Solitaire** When playing this game, you will need two standard decks of cards. In total, there will be 104 cards in play. The cards are laid out in 10 rows of 4 cards each at the beginning. All the cards are face up. The remaining 64 cards are put aside. There is space for 8 main cards at the top of the playing field. During the game, these aces are placed on top of one of the main figures. The goal of the game is to collect all the cards of a suit on the aces in ascending order. To do this, you can move ordered sets of any length from column to column and from stack to column so they go in descending order. **Forty Thieves Solitaire** This game is similar to Josephine Solitaire, but with some key differences. Only the bottom, fully visible cards of the vertical columns and the top card of the stack can be used.
