«Pulsar: Neon Swarm» is a vertical space shooter with vibrant neon vector graphics.
You pilot the last operational fighter against a relentless swarm that grows more aggressive with each wave. There are three distinct enemy types: Needles target you directly, Wedges blanket the area with spread volleys, and Whirls fill the screen with bursts in all directions. Every fifth wave introduces the Brood — a formidable boss with detachable gun modules. Taking out these modules one by one visibly reduces the pressure. Choose to disable the boss first or go straight for the attack — the choice is yours.
Your weapon starts with one barrel and can expand up to five, but each hit sustained reduces your progress by a level. The more skilled you become, the more costly mistakes are.
Death doesn't erase your gains; cores remain with you. Between runs, the hangar offers permanent upgrades — hull, reactor, shield, magnet, cooling, and luck. With full upgrades, you can go twice as far.
The game features simple one-finger controls, with automatic firing.
Как да играеш
Move the ship by dragging — it will follow your finger, allowing you to anticipate what's ahead. On a desktop, use the arrows or WASD keys. Shooting is automatic, no need to press a fire button.
Pick up items, each with its own symbol:
* cross — adds one more barrel (maximum of five);
* bolt — replenishes energy;
* double ring — provides a shield for a few seconds, absorbing any hit;
* star — a bomb that clears the screen of torpedoes and damages all enemies;
* diamond — cores, the currency in the hangar.
Your bullets can destroy enemy torpedoes — in dense waves, this is the only way to clear a path.
Keep in mind: getting hit reduces your weapon level. Dodging can be more beneficial than forcing your way through.
After you die, go to the hangar. Upgrades are permanent and carry over to every subsequent run in Pulsar: Neon Swarm.
