Keep your eyes peeled for the arrow at the bottom of the screen, as it will reveal the whereabouts of your rival. Player one, your controls are: Q, W, E, A, S, and D for movement. M is for firing your weapon. As for player two, the controls are as follows: Use the keys 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, which you can find on the right side of the keyboard, for movement.
