After regaining consciousness in the hospital, Rick, a police officer, finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world. Zombies now roam the streets, and he must find other survivors to join forces with in order to fight for the city.
When Rick reaches the group of survivors, the main character embarks on a mission to gather supplies, repair the bus and defeat hordes of zombies. He then sets off on a journey with the other survivors.
