How to fix broken items? To repair your broken items, you need to go into the Workshop building, and then select the Repair tab. How to put a new chest in the storage? If you want to add a new box to your storage, first you need to make some space for it. Take out one of the existing boxes, make sure it's empty, and then put the new chest into that spot.
