Gomoku, also known as «Five Stones in a Row», is a two-player board game that requires logical thinking. The game is played on a board that usually measures 19x19 or 15x15 points (traditional and sports versions respectively) and the players alternate placing stones of two different colors. The objective of the game is to be the first to create an unbroken row of five stones in any direction — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
The rules of Gomoku can vary slightly, but the essence of the game remains the same. Some versions allow specific moves or have unique conditions for victory. It is believed that this game originated in China over two thousand years ago. Nowadays, Gomoku enjoys popularity worldwide, with numerous competitions dedicated to this exciting intellectual endeavor.
To play Gomoku, you have several options. You can challenge an AI, compete against a friend on the same device, or participate in online multiplayer mode and play against opponents from all over the world.

The game is set on a square field (board), divided into rows and columns. The intersections of rows and columns are called points. You can choose the board size: 9x9, 11x11, 13x13, 15x15, 17x17, or 19x19.
Two players take part in the game — black and white. Each player uses chips (stones) of their own color.
At each move, a player puts a stone of their color in any of the empty points on the board. Black plays first. After that, the players take turns making moves.
The goal of the game is to be the first to make a continuous row of five stones in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal direction using stones of your color.
If the board is full and neither player has made a row of five stones, the game can end in a draw.
