The game is well-known and comes in many forms with various names such as «Pharaoh», «Crazy Eights» or «Uno». Despite the different names and minor variations, the essence of the game remains the same.
You can play against a virtual opponent or challenge a friend online.
The goal is to get rid of all your cards before your opponent. Whoever finishes their hand first wins the round. The game uses a deck of 36 cards, but you can choose decks with 24, 32, or even 52 cards when playing against the computer.
At the start, each player gets four cards. The rest are placed in the middle for easy access. A random player starts first. In subsequent rounds, the winner of the previous round begins.
Spelinstructies
The goal of the game is to beat the previous player's card. Players alternate turns and have to play a card of the same suit or with the same value as the card played by the previous player. For instance, if a player puts down the eight of spades, the next player must play either a spades card or an eight.
If a player doesn't have a suitable card, they draw from the deck until they find one that fits. With this card, they can beat the card played before. After that, the turn passes to the opponent.
There are special cards in the game:
* 6 — the opponent takes one card from the deck instead of their turn.
* 7 — the opponent draws two cards from the deck, skipping their turn.
* 9 — the player who put it down must cover it with another card.
* Ace — the opponent misses their turn.
* King of spades — the opponent needs to take four cards from the pile and skip their turn. The queen can be played on any card and any suit.
