Asteria is a strategy game where you join the fight for dominance among four competing forces in a contested space sector. Establish your own state, select its ruling species, form of government, and core principles, then seize control of 12 out of 19 stellar systems.
Devote yourself to developing planets, balancing six vital resources, and specializing colonies with 11 different buildings. Dive into research of nine advanced technologies, enact laws, and manage population growth, stability, and potential unrest. Construct fleets from five distinct ship classes, strengthen orbital defenses, and witness epic battles play out.
Your rivals adhere to the same rules, engaging in trade, construction, research, treaty-signing, and warfare. Utilize gifts, embassies, trade agreements, and alliances, or take the frontier by force. The sector evolves in real time, but you can adjust the speed or pause the campaign to strategize.

Your objective in the campaign is to gain control over 12 out of the 19 systems in the sector. Name your state, pick its dominant species, form of government, and civic foundation. Choose planets to build and improve structures, maintain a balance among six resources, and ensure population stability. Use science to advance technologies and influence to shape laws. Construct ships at orbital facilities. Designate a fleet, select a linked system, and confirm movement or an attack. Assess the strength of your forces against the target's defenses, divide and combine fleets, and fortify key borders. Utilize the exchange to place or fulfill orders. Send diplomatic missions and gifts, negotiate trade deals and alliances, or declare war. Make sure not to lose your last system.
