This game allows diagonal moves and jumping over opposing pieces in any direction. You can only move one square forward at a time, including when making multiple jumps in sequence. When a piece reaches the opponent's last row, it becomes a «royal» piece, gaining the ability to move any number of squares in any direction, including backward. You must capture your opponent's piece if you have the opportunity to do so. If you cannot make a legal move, you lose.
