As you might already know, chess is a classic board game that has been enjoyed for centuries. It's a fantastic way to develop skills in tactics, logic, and memory. The aim of the game is to use 12 pieces to checkmate your opponent's king. Give it a try and may you emerge victorious!
Chess is a two-player game where each player controls one color — black or white. Each player starts with 16 pieces: a king (♔, ♚), a queen (♕, ♛), two rooks (♖, ♜), two bishops (♗, ♝), two knights (♘, ♞), and eight pawns (♙). They are placed on the board in specific starting positions. Whites start on the first and second ranks, while blacks begin on the seventh and eighth. Pawns start on the second and seventh ranks for whites and blacks, respectively.

Choose the piece you wish to move, then indicate the square on the board where you want to move the piece to. The aim of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king using the 12 pieces at your disposal. I encourage you to give it a try and wish you success! Vertical columns of fields (vertical files) are denoted by letters from a to h from left to right, horizontal rows (ranks) - by numbers from 1 to 8 from bottom to top.
