1. Search for matching numbers or those that add up to 10. For instance, 1 and 1, 3 and 3, 4 and 6 or 7 and 3. 2. Look in every direction — pairs of numbers might be arranged horizontally, vertically or diagonally. 3. Examine the distance between numbers — there could be empty cells separating a pair in any direction. 4. Check for numbers at the end of one line and the start of the next, scanning from right to left. 5. If there are no pairs, add all the numbers on the field together. 6.
